Hose and Couplings
The ContiTech Beattie Limited range of fire rated hoses was established over 20 years ago and is used on offshore installations worldwide.
The range of Fireshield Blow Out Preventer Control Hoses is available in sizes from ¼" to 2", operating at working pressures up to 5000 psi and temperatures from -40°C to +100°C.
Firewater Deluge Hoses range in size from 2" up to 8" at working pressures of 305 psi. In special cases this hose can be supplied up to 12" bore – please contact us for further information.
The newest member of the range, launched at Offshore Europe 2009, is the Fireshield Oil Hose. Available in sizes from 2” to 8” at working pressures up to 232 psi, this is the optimal choice for safe suction and delivery of oil/fuel in high fire risk areas. The hose is also suitable for seawater, mud and other typical offshore applications.
Both Fireshield and Firewater Hose ranges are tested and approved by Lloyds to Standard OSG/100/499.
Complementing the Fireshield Hose range is the Phoenix Beattie branded, fire rated QR74 self sealing coupling, ideal for quick and easy connection and disconnection of fire rated lines between the hydraulic accumulator and the surface BOP control stack.
