Fireshield Products Overview

The ContiTech Beattie range of fire rated hoses, trade name Fireshield, was established in 1983 and has been installed on offshore installations all over the world.

The Fireshield range of hoses is available in pressures ranging from 300 psi on fire water mains systems, to 10,000 psi on high pressure wellhead applications. The range of sizes available is from ¼" through to 12" ID.

The fire rated hose is complemented by the ContiTech Beattie fire rated QR74 wing nut self sealing coupling, which is ideal for quick and easy connection and disconnection of fire rated lines between the hydraulic accumulator and the surface BOP control stack.

In addition, in line with fire rating individual lines, ContiTech Beattie hold fire rating approvals for a wide range of hose bundles and couplings for use in wellhead applications.
