Offshore Loading and Offloading Systems Overview

ContiTech Beattie Limited Offloading Systems can be designed and supplied to suit alternative customer configurations:

Hose Storage Reel Offloading System

A crude oil offloading system developed for storage, deployment and recovery of OCIMF hose from a storage reel mounted on the stern or mid-ship of FPSO vessels.

The reel offloading system developed by ContiTech Beattie Limited is a fully integrated design with a storage reel and high integral control that is fully compatible with the dynamic deployment and recovery of OCIMF floating or catenary offloading hose. The offloading system is designed for installation on board FPSO vessels and for transfer of crude oil to a shuttle tanker fitted with bow loading systems or similar. The reel systems are available for handling OCIMF hose up to 24-inch bore diameter. The reel system can operate with either a catenary or floating OCIMF hose of a single or double carcass construction.

The offloading system will incorporate a shuttle tanker mooring system to operate alongside the offloading system. The mooring system will be used to deploy, anchor and retrieve a mooring hawser line. When fully deployed and anchored, the hawser line will connect the FPSO and shuttle tanker to prevent drift off during offloading operations.
