All equipment supplied by ContiTech Beattie is designed, manufactured, tested and certified in accordance with recognised manufacturing standards and certifying authority rules and regulations. The flexibility and diversity of design combined with the technical and business resource of ContiTech Beattie enables the company to supply either standard designs, or design and manufacture to customer's specific project requirements.
. ContiTech Beattie design and manufacture bulk hose in accordance with standard ISO engineering standards to meet all types of bulk material presently being transferred offshore. The stations are of a proven design, currently operating in exposed hazardous offshore locations worldwide. Depending on customer requirements, the loading station will incorporate, one, two or multiple hydraulically driven hose storage reels, mounted on a base plate, providing a means of safely storing, deploying and recovering hose between the platform and supply vessel, fixed pedestal or wander lead type control station and an electro/hydraulic power unit. The fixed pedestal or wander lead control provided, incorporates a spring return proportional control joystick. The control joystick will automatically apply the brakes on return to its neutral position. The station is suitable for connecting to the platform or vessel supply line via permanent flange connections, through a rotating seal and flexible bellow. The electro/hydraulic power unit dedicated to the operation of the storage reel will be enclosed inside a steel cabinet suitable for bolting to fixed foundations. The power unit will have the capacity to deploy and recover individual hose assemblies at specified speeds in an exposed offshore enviroment and within clients specified zone; gas group and temperature class requirements. The design and manufacture of the unit will be in accordance with the relevant ISO standards and Classification Authority Rules and Requirements. The bulk hose string assemblies stored on the reel is supplied fully tested and will incorporate accepted industry standard fittings suitable for the medium being handled and a weak link coupling will be fitted in the string assembly to protect against damage in case of supply vessel "drift off".. |
