Bulk Loading Hose

This literature introduces a range of bulk loading hose designed for use on bulk hose loading stations and reeling applications. ContiTech Beattie Ltd provides a range of hoses specially designed for this application. The hoses have excellent axial load capabilities and the ability to recover its performance characteristics after severe crushing or kinking. The bulk loading hose range of soft wall delivery hoses have a selection of liner materials compatible with a range of mediums applicable to drilling and utility applications.

Hose Specification

The bulk loading hose design meets the rigorous requirements of the arduous physical and environmental conditions associated with offshore bulk hose handling. The hose range meet the basic requirements of LRS Part 7 Chapter 1 Table 1.4.1.

Typical hose string assembly

A typical bulk loading hose will be configured to suit specific locations and operational parameters. The hose assembly would include a number of hose fittings, typically, safety and anti-pollution components such as ContiTech Beattie's valved or un-valved weak-link coupling, safety hooks, floatation aids, ‘Todo' dry-break couplings and hammer-lug unions.
