On the 1st July 2008 the company changed its name from Phoenix Beattie Limited. This change reflects the company's ongoing integration into Continental AG. ContiTech Beattie Limited began trading over 45 years ago, and currently operates from its modern manufacturing headquarters in Ashington, and also in Aberdeen.

 
ContiTech Beattie is capable of offering a comprehensive range of products, services and systems, split into four main business units, Hose and Couplings, High Pressure Drilling and Production Hoses, Fluid Handling Systems and Hose Management.
