- Providing a safe place of work / safe systems of work with effective control of the risks to staff, contractors and the general public, so far as it is reasonably practicable to do so.
- Complying with current and future applicable Health and Safety Legislation, approved Codes of Practice and industry recognised guidelines.
- Setting and reviewing objectives and targets for operational performance, accident investigations and audit programmes to ensure continual improvement.
- Encouraging the participation of employees in accident prevention and the promotion of effective consultation in health and safety matters.
- Providing appropriate information, instruction and training, ensuring all employees are aware of their Health and Safety obligations.
- Communicating this policy to all company personnel and making in freely available to customers, the general public and other interested parties.
- Ensuring this policy is subject to regular review by senior management.
