Health and Safety Policy

ContiTech Beattie recognises that our activities relate to locations where hazards exist. We will at all times conduct our activities in a manner that ensures the health and safety of our employees and others who may be affected, so far as is reasonably practicable.

 

The company intents to conduct all operations in accordance with a documented and independently accredited management system complying with the requirements of OHSAS 18001. In order to achieve this the company is committed to:

 

 

  • Providing a safe place of work / safe systems of work with effective control of the risks to staff, contractors and the general public, so far as it is reasonably practicable to do so.

 

  • Complying with current and future applicable Health and Safety Legislation, approved Codes of Practice and industry recognised guidelines.

 

  • Setting and reviewing objectives and targets for operational performance, accident investigations and audit programmes to ensure continual improvement.

 

  • Encouraging the participation of employees in accident prevention and the promotion of effective consultation in health and safety matters.

 

  • Providing appropriate information, instruction and training, ensuring all employees are aware of their Health and Safety obligations.

 

  • Communicating this policy to all company personnel and making in freely available to customers, the general public and other interested parties.

 

  • Ensuring this policy is subject to regular review by senior management.
